To me When I get Home is a work of art, Solange presents her hometown of Houston from her ethereal perspective. Combining elements of ambient, rap, jazz, R&B, and spoken word Solange creates something unique and incredibly rich in thought and wonder. I have never heard something so beautiful and awe-inspiring. Even after two years of it being released I still come back to it.
